Olly for Rayne (Pre-wedding)

Olly for RaynePre-wedding shoot
May 21st, 2023 - Penang Island, Malaysia
Olivia and Rayne are friends of ours (my husband and I) who are getting married this coming November 13th, 2023 and they reached out to us as our schedules match the timeline they have. So we planned and made a short itinerary on what we should do on that day.

Even though we had to fly over to Penang from Kuala Lumpur, the whole idea of the photoshoot being in nature was definitely a short escape from the city.

We started our photoshoot a little late than what we initially plan. Though the weather has been unstable, I truly praise God that it didn't rain so much nor was it too sunny.

Note that the photos that you see here are photos that was taken for behind the scenes, as my husband Gabriel was the main photographer. While I still do direct and mention that what else we need to take photo of.

Without further ado, here are the photos from the pre-wedding shoot "Olly for Rayne"
The first stop that we went to do the photoshoot is called Botanical Gardens. On a normal Sunday, the place would be packed with people who are walking around and exercising, but somehow this Sunday was a little different. There was nobody there. Which made the photoshoot a little easier.
The twirling and look in their eyes makes me so giddy and excited for their love. On how innocent yet passionate they both feel for one another.
There was an unexpected work call for Rayne and Olivia posed for a short while waiting for Rayne to finish his work call.
And yes. I love all things black and white in a photo.
The Second and Last stop we went was Balik Pulau. Due to time constraint we only managed to go to 2 places out 3 places than we initially planned, but even with just 2 places. Gabriel and I managed to get more photos! (Plus points for sunset as well)

When I saw the yellow bus, it felt that Olly and Rayne went back to their high school days just minus their high school uniforms.
I've always loved the scenery in Balik Pulau's paddy field. I'm so glad that we got to go here for Olly and Rayne's photoshoot.
I just love this photo. It even makes me want to frame it.
This one too!
Asking Rayne and Olly to cycle was a bit hard, it turned out really great in photos! Kudos to Rayne as he was the one cycling a lot for both of them because Olly didn't know how to ride a bike.
Ah yes, finally the sunset. I never thought I would see a place like this in Malaysia. When I was here, it felt like I was back in Philippines where they had amazing sunsets like these too and sorry I can't help it making the photos black and white.
